Clara Mapelli Marchena

PhD in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Master's Degree in Leadership and Public Management from the Menéndez Pelayo International University. Civil servant of the Senior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State.

She has held the positions of Director General of Public Governance and Technical Secretary General-Director of the Government Secretariat, as well as the positions of Deputy Director General of Intellectual Property, Deputy Director of Studies and Research of the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies, technical deputy secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, and director of the cabinets of the Secretary General of the Civil Service and the Secretary of State for Justice, among others.

She is the author of several publications on the reform of the civil service and the judicial area of the European Union. He has coordinated training activities and taught at the National Institute of Public Administration. He is a member of the European Commission's expert groups on Public Administration and Governance, and Regulatory Improvement and Simplification.
